Pinstripe
What's the best way to remove the pinstripe from the side of my truck? I've been wanting to for a while, but I'm not sure how I should go about doing it.

Re: Pinstripe
heat gun/ blow dryer and a razorblade to start with..... just use the razor blade to get it started and put it down.... becareful not to scratch the paint with the razorblade.... and take the heatgun/blowdryer just in front of what you are pulling to warm it up... makes it easier to pull of... if there's any sticky stuff left on it use goo gone to pull that off....

Re: Pinstripe
DO NOT use a razor blade to even get it started! Go to a hardware store and get a plastic putty scraper for $.98. It won't hurt your paint at all. I used one to remove that double sided tape crap off the side of my truck, and it didn't scratch it, even with a ton of back and forth scraping.
If you want it done super fast, you can get an eraser wheel for a drill, and work it that way, but the scraper will work.

Re: Pinstripe
Blow dryer yes. razor? um no. Go to the parts store. They carry sticker shock, 3M label remover etc..... Heat it up with the dryer, soak it down with the label remover. Finger nail and patience.

Re: Pinstripe
I used a razor to start it on a warm day and just peeled it off slowly from there. Then goo gone to get the sticky off. My paint isnt great as it is so a few nicks dont matter.
