Default 97 Ranger lowering info

I'm thinking about lowering my 97 2WD a few inches. Nothing crazy just something to bring it down a bit. I've been looking at various kits but haven't decided which route I would go. Anybody?????

Cheapest would be cut the coils and flip rear shackles for a 2/2 drop. Drop coils with a flip kit and new hangers would do 2/3 prolly 200-300$. New drop beams and a flip kit would do 3/4 for around 400$. After that im not sure on info as i personally wont go farther as its my only vehicle. None of these prices include drop shocks which would tack on around 150$ extra. Though some say you dont really need drop shocks. Hope this helps

Thanks. I've seen lowering springs for the front and I thought about getting my rear springs de-arched.

thats sounds like alot of money compared to just getting a flip kit for $50
