I did the Explorer hood hinge conversion on mine. A little more work but all OEM.

They are from mid-90's Exploders. Use 2 passenger side hinges. Drill out the tack welds on the originals. Mark the new holes. Drill them out and use nuts and bolts or use nut serts. Everything will bolt right up.

Yeah, in the middle of installing the blower, the prop rod was a pain. Then I installed the Redlines and they were still in the way. So I found out the Exploder hinges worked. Nothing in the way now.

i like that nice mod... fyi 98 and newer guys your hood hinges bolt on so no need to drill spot welds if you wanna do this mod
