Default Front Mud Flaps

Went to Ford yesterday with a shopping list, to be told there is nothing in the books about front mud flaps (i want the same style as the back ones) for 2005 and up rangers.

What's my alternative then, drilling?

Oh, we both laughed a good 20 mins when we saw ford charging 30$ for 2 minuscule screws to fix a cupholder to my seat!

I've been told the back molded ones will fit on the front with some slight modifications, one of the guys at the dealership here has done it. Involved drilling a few holes if I remember right. On my list of things to do within the next month or so as well.

I had to take mine off for my front tires to fit. Message me, you can have them.

I had the same problem looking for mud flaps for my truck. Here's the thread.

My truck didn't come with any flaps so I would also need the rear hanging brackets as well. I found one set of molded ones I thought would work and ordered them. They weren't a good fit at so I sent them back.

Let me know what you find that works for you.

I just checked "Weathertech" and they don't make mudflaps for my 2010 Ranger. What I really find interesting is that the Ranger outsells any other small truck but accessories are not usually available! Anyway....in Canada Canadian Tire Store stocks a moulded mudflap which will fit...$41.99 a set of two. They require some drilling, which I hate to do but here with snow, sand, mud and salt we need them.

I am going to fab some out of diamond plate and paint them black using the OEM mudflaps as a template. $25 for diamond plate. $7 for paint, durable=win.

The flat ones? Were they drilled in?

Yeah i saw your thread before i started this one

But yours is about molded ones, i want the larger flat ones (like the oem in the back) to make sure the beefier tires don't throw stuff on the paint

My 2010 B4000 came with molded mud flaps that attached with no drilling... I preffered the look of no flaps so I took them off but they are very nice. I'm very suprised that Ford doesn't have the same thing for the Ranger as everything for the Mazda is a Ford part. Actually I'll go check them in the garage to see if they have a brand and part number on them.

Going to look amazing but I'd be very careful. If you drive over a curb or go off road or just big bump and the flap hits ground a plastic flap will break and rubber will bend but diamond plate is going to break whatever you have it attached too.

I like the look of the molded ones, but considering the size and thread pattern of my tires, they would be useless.

They're the drilled/molded ones. Took them off cause with big tires they rubbed slightly. No damage though.
