I've seen several styles and models, but i'm having a hard time thinking about using 3m tape directly on paint.

Friend of mine who owns a bodyshop proposed to install a flim on the front end of the hood, but rocks would tear it up and still scratch, right?

Are there models that attach to the hood without screws or tape?

I've had a Lund Interceptor on mine for years. It mounts using existing holes and fasteners on the bottom-side of the hood. I'm not sure if they're still made though.
