Jeeps have a "wall" if you will that keeps debris on the inside of the vehicle, as well as your feet.

Yeah, you can take your doors off (once again, check legalities before you do it), but why would you? Why would you want to look like a jeep, and why would you want to have a completely open truck to the weather/theives? Plus, it looks stupid on a Ranger or any other vehicle, IMO.

Leave your doors on. Better yet, take your panels off and get yourself the equipment to have power windows

thats right freedom cost a buck fifty!

the door shouldnt be too hard to take off, but i wouldnt mess with it, jeeps look cool with it cause they have an insert, the cool thing to do would be make some half doors, but unless they are on a heavily modded truck they look goofy and dont have much of a point.

I wouldn't simply remove the doors. Besides possible legal ramifications the doors also play a huge role in the structural integrity of the truck. If you got into an accident without the doors the cab would likely colapse without the added structure of the doors.

My advice to you is ask a police officer. And you'll get your answer. If they allow it go for it. It's what you wanna do. It's your Ranger.
