Default head lights wont turn on

all my other lights work but not the damn heallights i bought a new switch but still wont work any ideas??

check to see if you have power in the plug with a test light. i've seen both bulbs blow at the same time . verry rare but it has hapened. may just be a fuse tho.

i checked the fuses they all good and check the wires at headlights theres no power all the other lights are working

i'd pop a new fuse in there and re-check the fuse may be causing your greif

Try tracing the wires. It will be long task but it might lead to the problem.

all righty i smelled something funny out of the steering wheel like something burned i took it apart and the blinker switch seem the thing to smell the most i took it apart and saw that the plug that goes connected to it was kinda melted so im heading to junkyard tomorow to get a blinker switch hopefully thats what it is

Dimmer switch!!!

Lost one on my 86 B II, about 10PM, 20 miles from the pavement, no head lights. Took me the next day to track down the problem.

problem fixed it was the damn blinker switch went to junk yard and got lucky and found one for 15$ otherwise at advance its 80$

It wound up being a 10 minute replacement of the multifunction switch... about 5 screws and two plugs. I was totally sweatin' it that it was going to be all complicated too. **sigh**

What's crazy is I called a dealership and they wanted to charge me $320.00 including the part and labor. Went to bought it for $60.00 at AZone. SO you saved me $260.00. Thank you so much!!
