Re: Smoked
if you want to stay "Legal", use your brights. The smoked covers will keep the brights from actually blinding people and cops won't bother you, because your lights will appear to be on the "low beam" position.
BUT, your going to need to add some street legal driving lights, to actually light up the road at night.

Re: Smoked
I didn't smoke my headlights because I like to see, but I just did my turn signals and have had my twilights done for almost 2 years now without a problem. I tinted them myself with the spray but didn't go super dark with it. It looks almost black in the sunlight but at night you can hardly tell a difference

I have my front and side signal markers painted the same flat black as the truck and have no issues. I just don't want to smoke my taillights and start getting pulled over all the time and have to get new ones

My Jeep gets pulled over alllllll the time for it's mods and I keep the Colorado Revised Statues traffic code in my glove box because of it.

One particular county has one particular stretch of highway about 50mi long where everytime I drive it in the Jeep (every weekend going wheelin') I get pulled over for "illegally modified suspension" and I whip it out, bookmarked, showing where it was overturned in 1982.
I respect the guy doing his job, but seriously every week!
