Roll Bar fabrication
so im starting to fab up some roll bars and i stopped by a few off road places and looked at what people had. so heres the thing i want a roll bar, but i want the bed space too. so i found some guy that had some removable roll bars. im not going to be using them as real roll bars but as light mounts and just to make the car look BA, and if i need the bed space ill be able to pull them off. heres some of my ideas and i wana get some of your opinions

the whole idea is to get some bad ass looking roll bars in maybe mount some lights up top. but still be able to take it off and use the whole bed for other things.

Re: Roll Bar fabrication
why dont u just straighten out the back two? lol it doersnt have to be in the middle u can easily have one fabbed with the parts coming out in the corners
i think having an outward angle would make it look weird and harder to get around than it is
----------
make a side view of ur last plan please...from the drivers side
----------
thhis is what i am talking about (from another thread)

Re: Roll Bar fabrication
i think with the last bar idea it would look similar to this one. but with the angle you cant really tell there bending outward.
i was looking on craigslist and i found some pretty nice ones for about 50-150 bucks. and I found for 20 feet of 3 inch pipe with a thickness of .216 is $208 without shipping. it might be a better idea just to modify one and not make one from scratch.
