HIDs require a ballast and harness. If you bought a kit it should come with instructions.

go to DDMtuning.com, click on HID kits and lighting.

click on 'HID kits' option

select either the raptor kit or the slim ballast kits (3rd or 4th option down, respectively)

select wattage (i have 35, some people have 55, some people have hi/lo 35 watt, just pick what you want)

select bulb type (9007)

select bulb color (5000k-6000k will give you the whitest, most usable light. search for color scales on google images. with a 55watt kit, a 6000k will appear like a 35watt 5000k)

i didn't need an error code eliminator, mounting bracket, harness, or any of those extras below. place your order and check your shipping costs.

DDM has the best reputation for HIDs, and a lifetime warranty. i have them, and have had several other hid aux lights with ddm kits that have had 0 issues.

Do hi/lo kits mean both beams are HID or is one normal and one HID?

You can not use an HID kit with DRL's. Wont work the way the system operates.

I haven't heard if they work with DRL's, but i know when i get my HID's in a month or two, I'm going to re-wire the lights, so my DRL's will be the orange markers, and when i turn my lights on, my headlights/fogs will come on. It should look pretty cool. I think i am going to run a 35w 6000k hi/lo heads and 8000k 55w fogs. Also, I have done the fog light mod, so its going to be a lot of light going down the road with the high beams on

----------

Also, just wondered which bulbs are used in the fogs... I know the heads are 9007, but don't know if my fogs are the same bulb.
