To make it work with pulse modulating DRL's, you need to put a capacitor on the headlight power wire to level the voltage. Any 3000+ uf capacitor from radio shack will do the trick and they cost like $5. You put the positive lead of the cap on the positive headlight wire and the other lead on ground. The "DRL Kit" you can buy from many of the HID resellers are just that.

You MUST either use a relay or use a hi/lo kit since they already include a relay. You should NOT wire this directly to the ballasts.
