If I remember right... someone on here, or maybe another forum put his truck on the dyno before and after putting a K&N CAI in his pickup, and putting the K&N CAI in made him lose power...

I wonder how pissed he was: "ok, the dyno results read that before the K&N installation, your truck was putting out 207 hp. After adding the K&N CAI, your trucks hp is 203"

Not starting anything.... But putting on a larger M.A.S.(card type) the larger diamitor tube does help and yes heat wraping it brings it back down to less the the stock tube did as far as the I.T.A. goes. Now how about taking a couple pieces of plexy glass and box back in the corner? Back to drawing cooler air from behind the light..

or how about driving 70 mph down the hwy....? wont suck in hot air then. They should blow air at dyno'ed vehicles to simulate rear worl driving

Well lots things people do are to our trucks are for looks. And cost money. As long as you do it with the understanding that it is only for looks, then it's fine.
