Default Lexan rear glass completed

Just finished up my lexan install with holes for a roll bar. It's completely water proof and I think it looks pretty neat and tidy. What do you guys think?

I like it! How hard was it to work with considered using some to make some fog light bezels since the stx's are out of production.

Does the rollbar attach to the back window in those holes ?

The roll bar goes through the back window and connects inside the cab to the inside roll cage

might not be legal depending on state/provincial laws. might be worth looking into if the truck is going to be driven on the steet often. i know around here, anything with a roll cage is a cop magnet. if i cop catches sight of one of the bars theyll pull you over and go over the car with a fine tooth comb to catch you on something thats not steet legal. considering youre going to have two massive bars coming through the rear window id say it would be pretty easy for a cop to see it.

otherwise, work looks great. nice to see things done right.

The lexan wasn't too hard to work with. I had a place CNC cut it from a cardboard template I had made. They cut it a little large but nothing a grinder with a sanding wheel couldn't fix. The rubber boots are actually some roof flashing stuff I got from the hardware store and the plates are CNC'd aluminum I got from a local place to match the dimensions of the boots.

I'm not to worried about the cops. I have a mustang convertible with a cage and I've never been pulled. Cops around my parts are pretty laid back.

I mocked up the roll bar with a bit of pvc pipes so now I just gotta get it made, powdercoated , and installed!
