I would only do it if you are going to put alot of time into it and make it look really good.
I would try to make it as dark as possible so it dosent fade to a gray.

Herculiner is far too rough and it'll tag your washmit. I used Duplicolor Truck Bed Coating in a can on my front chrome bumper, front valence, and all the flares. They are very black and havn't faded and they've been coated for over 2 years now. The coating replicates the stock texture, yet is also smooth to be easily cleanable with the washmit, and it does take some time to figure out how the paint sprays out of the can.
If properly prepped, it wont chip either. Mine chipped in a spot on the chrome bumper that I didn't prep all too well in the first place.

Yup...not black, but dark blue. I bought it thinking it was black....don't buy a vehicle at night.
Thanks for the compliment.

How is the "dark blue" truck lifted?? I want mine to look like that. I was going to do a 3" BL, crank the T-bars and get bigger tires.
