but if you are not going to do ALL the prep work for the roll on liner moister could get under it and it will not last.

at least this is would looks to of happened to my bed. most of the liner that was on top of the rails has come off. There is at lest one spot on the bed floor that the liner cracked and has rusted under the liner.
when the weather gets a bit nicer out I am going to strip off the old roll on and do a very good prep job and put down a good roll on.

I had a drop in liner that was a bit old and it started to come out as I was driving down the road. another time I was behind some one on the highway when there liner came off the truck at 70mph in heavy traffic. good thing It went off to the side off the road.

leaves have got under some of my drop in liners befor

My drop in liner has been in my truck for around 13 years now my bed isnt rusted out one bit. I had the liner out last year the paint was scratched up by the front of it but there was no rust.

My truck has always been an out side truck I use to have a quad in the back of it about 90% of the time the liner has holes in it now from how wore down it is.

Was it a genuine ford bedliner?

I can only imagine the face of the driver behind you when that huge black plastic thing flew up in the sky

I'm not sure cause i have the tri-fold on, but i could have sworn mine is bolted in place?

I was the guy in back.
I drive a truck for a living and have seen a few bed liners on the side of the road.

If only I knew someone looking for a drop in liner near phoenix, az as I am looking to get rid of mine. I did look under it recently and there is just some minor scratching and its been on the truck since new in '99 (not always in az either).
