If your going to a jy you can look at as many emblems as u can. If you find some take your finger nail where the blue and the chrome meet if it catches they should be the 2 piece emblem. I think not for sure 90-99 or 00.

The ones you can take apart and repaint are atleast 93 to 06 I believe. Are you looking for the grille and tailgate emblems?

ya i was looking for the grille and tailgate emblem. i have the 2 piece ones on my truck but i wouldnt mind buying a few more sets to mess around with lol

Use 3m double sided tape to re-attach them to the gate, the ones on the grille just bolt on. I can get you emblems if you'd like, I am hitting the junkyard tomorrow. Shoot me a pm if you're interested

The ovals I use come on anything from 80's to 99-ish vehicles.

I'd suggest getting a BIG PILE of ovals to practice with, you'll break about 25% of them taking them apart, 25% will get damaged during disassembly & 25% will have so much damage to begin with that they'll be useless.

Out of 100 ovals I do, 75 don't make the cut... but the 25 that do... mmmmmm, they look as good as a brand new one.

What size ovals were you going to do?
I have a bunch that are in various stages of disassembly.

i really dont know what size buggman. I just saw the mod in the how to section this morning and thought i would like to try it lol what would be the best? oh and clinton im going to head to the local junkyard this weekend and if i dont find any ill shoot you a pm for sure. Thanks

alright so this weekend im going to the junkyard to get a bunch of emblems hopefully. Wats the quickest and easiest way to get the emblems off the truck? lol

It isn't as easy as some think it is.
There's a bit of art & science to doing them.
Even after all the ovals I've done, there are still a LOT that break during the initial disassembly.
