I have had Rhino (TuffGrip) over the rails for almost 2 years and NO complaints I love it! IMO LineX and Rhino are both equally great products, at the end of the day it all comes down to the installation/application. Every product like this is bound to have horror stories. On a side note, I also Dupli Bed Armored my tool box and love that too!

anyone ever tried doing something yourself? I wouldn't mind taking my plastic one out and trying to do something you paint on? maybe like the stuff you paint on your garage. I don't haul much stuff...it would be more for eye appeal. Any thoughts?

YES, When people say Herculiner or Dupli-color ( there are a few other brands) they are all DIY bedliners. Most of the DIY liners are roll on application.

Great How-To if you want to give it a go: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/exter...-bedliner.html

I used the Canadian Tire spray in bedliner. Cheap thin stuff. If you prep well it sticks great. In some areas that had a bit of greese it came up after about 6 months and flakes in the car wash.

Any bedliner other than plastic looks great and will protect any light use truck. Rhino's the best around here. But with the $500 price tag I went for cheap do it yourself.

If I do it again on anything I'd go with one of the roller type do it yourself for around $150. Spray just isn't thick enough to protect anything. Even after 5 coats.
