Unhappy Can someone please help me with advice with this grille switch?

I'm not quite sure why anyone can't seem to help me with this but I wanted to swap out the original grille on my '97 Ranger with the grille from a '93 4WD ranger. Here's a link, http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Grilles/For...GR00262/341166 If you look at the original, http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Grilles/For...GR00238/185288 the sides are extended out a little further. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could make the 4WD grille fit on my ranger. Anyone have any experience in this or now what to do?

If you had an extra 97 grille to cut the longer top sections from, you MIGHT be able to attach them to the 93 style grille... that is if the top sections of both grilles have the same profile.
If they're close enough, you might be able to cut off the top section of both grilles & swap them onto the other one.
Either way will require some fabrication skills & some fiberglass work to create enough support to hold the grille parts together.

Maybe it will be easier to go with a billet style grille, sigh. Also, I love the squidbillies! TRUCK BOAT TRUCK

Yea, unfortunately there aren't many cool options for our old trucks.

I'd really like a honeycomb style grille so I could hide my Hella's behind there. Heck, I'd be happy with a grille that didn't have a crack in it.

Hell that grille from 1A is only $41.95, that would be even cheaper than painting one.
