Depends on what is wrong with it. Some shops have frame machines, But I know certain inspections may not pass a truck with certain repairs done to the frame depending on what it is

I hate to say it man, but the best repair for that is a new frame. That would never hold a patch job

Wink Re: frame repair

well the thing is there is only three spots the very end on both sides and right before the leaf spring mount on the passenger side the leaf spring spot will be easy but the very end is hard plus I can't find a frame that will match mine around here

I can understand man, but when its that bad at the end and you have holes lower, past the shackles that whole thing is shot. You arent too far from me, if you really need one and can road trip it with a trailer, I will take you to a place and help you get one

It looks like your shackle mnts have been done before since they're bolted on. Check out out http://rangerframefix.com for parts to fix your truck

Could rebuild the back half of the frame also if ya really wanted to. But like everyone else has said a new frame maybe the way to go.

Isnt the back half of the frame held to the front with rivets? If i remember correct it is. So you could cut them out of the donor frame and bolt and weld it to your frame so all you have to do is replace the two frame rails.

^^^Not on 97-.

As a side note, the frames "should" be the same all the way up to current. I have a rear frame clip complete with springs and good hangers. It would bolt on like the newer trucks. You should be able to just drill the holes and bolt it on.

Its only 12hrs to maryland, depending where your at. I could meet you half way...?
