Default Question for HID owners?

Can HID owners please post a picture of your truck pointing at a wall with the low beams on. As well name/brand of kit.I see them offering low/hibeam HID kits and claiming them have a cut off built into the bulb and I'd like to see how well they work.

I love to have the power of HID lights but I'd never buy without a proper low beam cut off to keep from blinding people like most of the early HID kits are doing.

Thanks

they won't have a decent cut off unless they're in a projector housing. which ranger's don't have unless its aftermarket.

that's why mine are coming out asap.

They scatter unless what you're looking at is some HID kit I've never heard of....

Here is a thread with pictures of HIDs:
Finally HIDS

You can avoid blinding people by adjusting your headlamps to be pointing down, but the more you do that the more it negates the visibility of your lighting as well.

That's a funny coincidence, considering i almost didn't see the car braking in front of me tonight due to a recent model car (this time a bmw) blinding the shit out of my view.. AGAIN

Projectors are just as bad (often worse considering they are focused beams) as regular housings, it mostly depends on how you adjust them. I know my previous car had a great cut off oem, didn't even need to lower the angle.

Thanks for confirming that things remain as I thought... I had a friend claim the new bulbs had a cutoff while I while they did have hi-low beams that changes nothing from controlling the low beam like a cut off would.

Guess only real option for HID would be a proper set of projectors. I don't think I've ever seen that done in a B4000 before... I probably won't be the first
