Lightbulb Tailgate Question
Will any tailgate fit an 01 2.5L 2WD single cab ranger? Prefferably one with the big ford emblem in the middle.

I believe the 98+ tailgates will fit, The new ones will fit your truck, I am pretty sure they are all standard sizes

To Take the tail gate off is super super easy.

just take the cables off the side, open it about half of the way and pull toward you and thats it man
