Default grille help!

I have a 2002 ford ranger xlt with the grey honeycomb style grill and I was wondering if something like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHROM...=p4506.c0.m245 would work on my truck. I like the newer style grills better. Anyone ever do this?

so, techincally speaking it can be done, you do need a few extra parts from the newer styled trucks in order for it to work though.

Just to put in my two cents....you need a header panel and then the grill, and the hood.

Unless your cool like me and cut your hood and then your hood is 10x better then the 04 up

those pieces under the head lights are part of the header panel.

to the OP you need the header panel and if your good with a cut off wheel you can cut the hood to make the grill fit in better than the 04+ from the factory.

to take it out you'll have to take the surround out with it
pop the hood and you'll see bolts on the black cover, remove those
look between the bumper and the bottom of the grille and you'll see little clips pull the grille surround to take it off
once the whole assembly is off, you'll have to take the grille out of the surround just be careful and take your time and it will come right out
