Default Removing Front Bumper

Hey I am thinking about removing my front bumper to paint the trim on it. I am wondering should i remove it? Or can i just newspaper everything up and use some masking tape everything but the trim so i wont have to remove the bumper. Because i really dont feel like removing it if it takes a lot of work.. I might just newspaper everything up and spray the trim..

But i am still thinking

I would take it off. Get someone to help you and it you cant get a couple chairs to support the bumper while you are unbolting it. If you have fog lights you will need to unplug them at the light.

Its really easy.

You can do it. I think its a 3/4 in socket but I might be wrong. On my 2002 I used an extension with the socket and it helped alot.

If you get under your truck, you should check and see the bolts. I didn't take mine off to paint that piece i just taped it off. You're talking about the valence right...the gray plastic stuff? I painted mine with it still on the truck lol.

ill whore 1 pic lol

i also painted my fender flares and the plastic piece on the rear bumper also.
