Post Once again another HID question. First and last :D

Just got my tax refund check in and want to get on the HID kits before they stop. Now I have the 6000k setup right now and I'm pretty impressed with it. I used to have 12's which sucks ass (I was a noob when bought). Then 10's then 8's. Loved the 8's but I think it was too dim in light. I want the 8k color yet I want the 6k brightness. What if I go with the 8k 55 watt? Or 6k 55watt. I also have fogs which have 6000k 36watt so I really would like for it to watch or at least the bottom be brighter than the top? Just to make it look right. So any help would great, thanks.

well a 55w 8k will look more like a 35w 6k. but, there might be housing issues. not 100% sure.

Here's DDMs color chart:

There isn't anything that exactly matches what you want, so you're going to have to compromise either brightness or color.

Actually, since you say you're running a 6000K setup now I would just order the 55W 8000k setup. Then you can swap in the 6000K bulbs and the 8000K bulbs to see which one you like more.

Disclaimer: I'm not 100% sure if there is any physical difference between the 35W & 55W bulbs, so you should verify that my idea is applicable before relying on it.

Well I might just stick with the 6000k setup and might get a new kit for the fogs as well. So I want the heads to match the fogs. So I just thinking 35watt for both 6k? Or 8k 55watt and 6k 35watt for the fogs?

honestly, 35w is plenty bright enough. plus less risk of melting stuff and blinding everyone lol

Right, well for 90 bucks including shipping, I can get two 35watt 6k kits for my heads and fogs and solved! But if anyone else can tell me otherwise to buy different, I'm all ears. But tomorrow, probably going to order them as well as a new L96 sniper rifle, automatic door lock kit, new jeans and pay some bills . Might skip the door kit until spring as well as the rifle

Well see I never went with 55watt so I don't want to get something and end up not liking it then paying extra to sent stuff back and request something else. I have been through many kits from 12,000k to 6000k so I want this kit to actually be my last ha. Oh and I just got my tax refund checks in so yeah you can say that but I'm actually trying to save up as you can see lmao

HAHA I thought you might say that. Okay fine I will. I guess I'm going with 6k both heads and fogs 35watt singles.
