Bodylift bed bolts loose
So I got a bodylift put on in January and my truck got rear ended last week and now it's all fixed and I picked it up yesterday. So today I noticed every corner I take I can see my bed move if I look at the body line detail that goes the length of the truck as reference. So I phone the offroad shop and they won't do it for me unless I pay. My trucks an 09 and has 6 bed bolts in the back but don't know how to take off the plastic stock bed liner to get at the bolts and how tight to tighten them too. Any help please

Re: Bodylift bed bolts loose
That bedliner is a drop in, you pull out the sides and back end and then pop it out.

Re: Bodylift bed bolts loose
take them completely out and put red thread locker on the bolts. don't need to do the entire bolt but about 1/4 of it should be sufficient and THEN tighten them down again. it will never go loose again

Re: Bodylift bed bolts loose
You should be able to get any loctite at any local auto parts store for no more than 6 bucks a pack.

Re: Bodylift bed bolts loose
If the bodyshop room the bed off they should have put loctite back on.

Re: Bodylift bed bolts loose
Ok so I got my canopy off now but my bed liner goes under my bed rail caps. How do I take it off? Seems glued or something? Maybe 3m tape?
