I have the Bak Flip G2 folding, hardshell cover (newest version). Very high quality but very expensive (at least here in Canada - $900 CDN). I like it because of its low profile and allows access to the bed stake holes. Previously had the Extang Trifecta folding, soft cover. Also very good quality and much less expensive. Don't think you can go wrong with either one - depends on what you can afford.

What do you all recommend for people with truck boxes? Is it something where I either use box and no cover, or cover and no box?
Edit: Here are a few pics of the box I have.

I'm pretty sure I've covers for trucks with boxes. I can't remember where though. Try JCWhitney and Summit Racing as a couple of places to start.

I'm about 95% sure i got the same cover (Lund Genesis Seal & Peel). It is pretty nice. Quick and easy to roll up and seal back down, it's kept my box dry since i put it on, and it doesn't seem to shrink to bad in the winter. If i had to do it over again though, i would get a hard cover or a camper top so it had a locking ability.

Is that red one easy to take off?

I've looked at the Lund Genesis and Black Pearl tonneaus, but not sure how hey'd attach with the bed liner I've got. There are only four small access holes (one by the tie down eyes in each corner of the bed) and I'm not certain if the tonneau clamps will secure properly.

Anybody have one of these installed on their truck with a bed liner? Would like to see pics as well.

Anybody have the Advantage TorzaTop tonneau? Been thinking about getting one of those, and possibly springing the extra cash for the Premier top with the convertible top material instead of the vinyl.

Would like to know how much flapping I can expect with that cover.

The Advantage "HardHat" model has potential, but it's just about twice the cost.

I have a spin top rollup tonneau on my 00 ranger styleside. I would like to sell it if anyone is interested. It is in excellent shape and easy to install. I just ordered a bestop rollup from truck addons. The truck I have now is a flareside.

Just bought a Rugged Cover E Series tri-fold for my Ranger last weekend, I'm very pleased with it.

I have the Roll N Lock retractable tonneau. They are a bit spendy but they are kind of the best of both worlds between soft and hard covers. It locks the tailgate when fully closed but also locks in three open positions. You can also get the cargo management gate that mounts to the rails (I have one on order). All in all I have been very impressed with the quality and functionality of this cover.
