Default Instrument panel bulb replacement

Thank you STL and Bob Ayers. Without this guide I never would have known how to even start this bulb replacement evolution.

That said, it's not over yet. I have to put the bulbs in a little later and reassemble.

I will post a completed shot if all goes well with the reinstallation.

Here is the back of the instrument panel of my 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L

Wish me luck!

Here is the after shot. Everything went back in perfectly. Now for the nighttime photo to see how bright it is. It's amazing what one can do when they have the right tools and diagrams to go by.

Thanks again STL and Bob Ayers for your help.

Yes they are plug-n-play. Just put a good bulb in the black receptacle, screw it on the instrument panel and let there be light!

Yeah, that write up was great. I checked at the dealer years ago, and they wanted about $250 to do it. Did it following the write up, and have loved it!

Very nice Job

It is a pain to change them out, but looks better once they are all burning again.
