Default Cap values?

So in 1993 my grandfather bought a Ranger.

He gave it to my father when he couldn't drive any longer.

Now its mine.

I don't want the cap, but have no idea how much its worth...I have seen ranges from $100 - $1000. (!)

Comments on a good listing price for Craigslist?

thanks.

Here are two pics.

Its a leer.

It was factory installed in '93 and has never been off the truck.

The clear coat is starting to peel, otherwise its in pretty good nick.

nice ride! looks like it will be fun, and those leer ones are quality, i would say ask at least 500-600 for it, but thats just a guess.

i think i'd just hold onto it, they are great for camping or if you have something large in the bed that you need to lock up. build something to set it on out of 2x4's and run weatherstripping around the bottem of the cap, so that you can just set it in place and clamp it on.

otherwise, i would think that $300 ish would be an ok price to ask, just seems like caps arn't what alot of people want. might just be more worth it to hold onto it.

the cap is 18 years old. it's peeling. sorry, but it's only worth about $100-$150. Brand new, in 1993, those caps were $500.
