To Valence or Not to Valence?
That tis the question
I think I change my mind everyday. Im working towards a 3" front coil lift.. bilsteins, etc.. and Im trying to decide if I want to run no valence or with one. I planned on making a skid plate the go behind the plastic valence anyways, nooow Im thinking I should ditch the valence and paint the chrome black or white. Im going to do a skid plate almost identical to that of the Project RangeRunner. Here are some pics of a truck with a 3" spindle and 31s no valence, also a picture of the range runner. Eventually I want 3"-4" flare fenders too. If i go this route I want to put 3" yellow fogs between the frame horns (where the two hooks are) and either two Hella 500FF behind a black billet grille or two hella 700s on the light bar.. unsure.. AHHHH the imagination..
What do you guys think?
I know the frame is different on the 4x4 but I have ideas how to make it work on my xlt

Valance on, as well as an 01-03 Honeycomb grille.

is the valence the bit under the bumper (fender?) if so, put it on. your truck looks chinless.

Re: To Valence or Not to Valence?
Valence needs to be on until you get your skid plate in place to cover up your radiator.

Not usually a fan of the but that last pic with the 01-03 honeycomb grill looks good! So if you wanna do it change the grill too!
