Why does the rear bumper have a slite inword angle, just wondering

Looks like it's been hooked on something and bent upwards. Or alternately it's been backed into something (as evidenced by the bumper ding) bending it down, and efforts to remedy it went a bit too far the opposite direction. The top of my trucks bumper is @ a 90 degree angle to the tail gate. Not like the picture. But i've never backed into anything and/or hooked anything to the bumper.

My 1990 and my 2011 both have that inward tilt they have never been tweaked or hit. I have seen many Rangers with the same tilt. Thanks for your input.

I don't have any kind of tilt in my bumper. It has to have hit something.
