Summit. I did mine alone with a jack and 4x4. Impact and about 2 feet of socket extensions nice to have. I had issues with the front body mount bolt.

Not another person getting a body lift! Get a suspension. It is the way to go. You will be glad you did.

Buying shit, because it is cheaper 9 times out of 10 is a screw up. This is one of those 9 times. Plus what the hell does a body lift do? Not shiz. You still have the same amount of ground clearance. With a suspension you can actually make it through more and it looks a lot better. So, really you spent $180 for nothing but looks. Then if you don't buy gap guards or pull the bumpers up, it looks like shit....hmmmmm.

Well for people that don't offroad much, a body lift is the way to go. I do offroad, but not near as much as i used to. I wanted to lift the truck and my only option was to go with the body lift. I just couldn't justify spending $1,800 on a suspension lift when i still owe $4,000 on the truck.

I put a set of $4 gap guards on it from the local hardware store. Ive gotten more compliments on my truck since Ive lifted than I ever did before. mainly because I went with a chrome wheel instead of a black wheel.

Basically when it all comes down to it, it's up to you which way you want to go.

Bumper brackets come with the kit so that is not a issue.
gap guards can be made yourself for 15 dollars.
