painted my 1st gen bumpers using duplicolor bedliner.....
and the lower bodyline and bed and roll bars and interior floors....

i went crazy with the stuff

looks tits....fairly easy to clean (pressure washer)
not as gritty as herculiner

tough as nails

easy to fix if scratched or chipped

just PREP, PREP, PREP the surface
if its not sanded and cleaned it will peel off

i had a few issues at first until i got ALL of the old paint off

If its goin on plastic i HIGHLY recommend Bulldog adhesive promoter This stuff works great for plastic bumpers and stuff that could possibly flex and crack or peel.

^Thats what I'm going to do. Thank you for the advise. Everyone wants me to do herculiner, but I think it is too gritty and thick for what I want. I just got some herculiner for the bed and it is great for that. I just don't want it on my bumpers.

We also have the dupli-color at work...DISCOUNT!!!

Do I add this after I have sanded it?

Got my sand paper and paint today! I gotta find a heater for the garage or wait till it warms up (who knows when that will be). It has to be between 50-90 degrees for the paint to work. I am pumped up!
