im new here at frf, how hard is it lowering ranger with djm kit? im thinking about doing myself never done anything like it so if anyone could give me step by step instructions. i would like to do myself. so any info i appreciate it.

Any info on your truck like year etc.

Ya some info would be helpful. There are some rangers you can't lower with a kit

94 ford ranger xlt supercab 2wd 3.0

Your kit consists of DJM 3" lowering beams for the front and a flip kit on the back.

The beams are a stock replacement and change the spindle location by 3 inches giving you a 3" drop in front. Nothing else is needed besides an alignment and drop shocks.

The flip kit is just a piece of metal used so that you can set your rear axel on top of your leaf springs, giving you 4" of drop. Drop shocks will be needed for the rear as well.
