Default So how should I fix this?

After jumping my truck one too many times, i got a hole in the top of my front diff. Would it be easier to replace the diff/third member or whatever you wanna call it? or take it off and weld it up if thats even possible. I'd love to straight axle the thing but my mechanical skills are crappy at best lol

Is that the axle arm itself, or the gear housing?
