does anyone know if this lift will go into an 04 xlt 4x4 manual ranger without much trouble?

you need the PA 3700 but other than that it will work fine.

alright cool, i was told by a buddy that i can get away with not installing that shift extension piece, and that my shift stick will just be a little shorter, but the details for the body lift say that i need to have it installed

you might be able to get away with it, im not sure honestly, but yeah the directions say you need it...

same here but everyones told me to go with PA soo im just gonna get theirs lol it seems to be tried and true! Cant go wrong there.
