class III hitch
im gonna go down and see if i can put on a class III hitch today but i was looking at where it would go and it looks like the spare tire would be in the way. can u not have a spare with a hitch installed?

You can have the spare there still, some hitches have different mounts, I had a reese on my truck but took it off when I did the body lift but it fit with the spare

alright thanks. are they easy enough to take off and on by urself? like i only put it on when i wanted to tow somehting?

NOOO. it sucks doing it by yourself. ask me how i know. Plus why would you do that, just leave it on and its there. do yo have one already to mount?

I have done 3 by myself...not the easiest, but possible. You should have bought mine when you got my shell!!! Oh and I had mine installed with a 32" under there. Just have to drop the tire first and then put the hitch up.

Plus you can put a tow hook or something while not in use to dissuade people from tailgating...and in the chance you get rear ended...they hit the hitch not the bumper.

the shop is custom making a hitch to go around the oversize spare and work around the body lift ill post a picture when they finish later
