Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything.
OK.....I have recently bought a few items that just stick on your truck with 3M double-sided tape. I don't know if it matters, but its 2 of the Escape V-6 emblems, and a pair of chrome mirror caps/covers..or whatever.
My question is.....on some of the packaging it says that the ideal "stick-on" temperature for adhesion is 70 deg F through 100 deg F. Does this really matter? I mean, if I put them on in 40 degree weather are they gonna pop off or something?
Seriously...should I wait until it warms up...or could I just take a blow-dryer and warm the area a bit before I stick them on?
