Default Duplicolor Paintshop...

Has anyone here used it? I have a paint gun and equipment but no booth and this would be the way to go for a cheap paint job. For a 32oz can, the prices range from about $16-$25 and the candy colors would be a little more. My question is, they claim there's no mixing/reducing or anything involved. Pretty much pour it in the paint gun and your off... Has anyone here used it before?

This would be ideal for people on a budget who can get a cheap paint gun and want to change the color of their truck! I am thinking 1-2 cans would be need for a truck (more if going from certain colors). They have everything from adhesion promoters and primers to base and clear. I am really thinking of doing this because you could have a very nice paint job on the cheap, and it will look better than a rattle can. I'm not certain, but it might actually be cheaper than using spray paint. not sure how many cans would be needed to paint an entire truck...

Here is a photo of the product in question:

I have used it , and I think for the 24 bucks per qrt. was a deal, I used their primer , color and the clear. I painted a camper shell, it came out very nice.
I also used a 10 dollar harbor freight "purple" hvlp gun

made my own spray booth using cheap throw away plastic drop cloths tacked up in my garage just to cover ceiling and walls and floor

I say go for it if you get a run you can sand it down and re-do it just have a compressor that can put out at least 6cfm , also another tip was I had to use a bit more pressure instead of the 15-30 psi I used 45 psi on the guage at gun

BTW Be sure to use Lacquer thinner for your clean up NOT reg. paint thinner

used it to paint small thing, I use the 1 part clear to seal airbrush work before clearing with 2 part clears.. have to say it works well with some applications. I wld say if your painting a whole vehicle with this base coat, get a cheap 2 part clear like Matrix, to finish with..

did you use their clear? technically its a "clear sealer" not a "finishing clear". if so I'm sure it did.
