paint questions.

i am looking into painting my truck. i was thinking the grey color some of you have. a matte black or a gloss black. if possible could one of you guys that is good with computers make my truck those three colors so i can see what it would look like. i want everything that color including grill. not rims though i have the supplies to paint it such as the paint gun and sandpaper but i dont know what color.

I wld buy a set of fenders, and re-paint the OEM color.. bumpers n grill to match

i would fix fenders but i dont have that kind of money and my oem color you cant buy in the stores.

you can buy any color u want in the right store..... are you talking about buying "spray bomb"?

idk what spray bomb is. i have looked at all the auto parts stores around and none of them have my color. my paint is light blue with sparkles. and besides i would have to paint the whole truck again and if im doing that i want to make a color i want.

spray bomb= Spray paint, aerosol can... if you paint it gloss black its going to magnify every dent, black being the most reflective color. I like the color of your truck, but totally understand that if your painting the whole vehicle you want the color of your choice.

Are you spraying the truck yourself cuz you said you dont have the money to fix the fenders (jy will be your friend if your lucky to find a good set) and a good paint job is going to cost a little bit more if you are changing the color of your truck due to having to do the jams and everything.

as stated earlier, you can get your stock color from any auto body/ paint supply store, all they need is your paint code. also, if money is an issue sticking to the stock color will be alot cheaper because the door jams, inside of doors, under the hood, back of the cab, front of the bed, inside the bed are already stock color. all of that would have to be painted if you were to completely change color meaning paint cost would nearly double, as well as prep and paint time. just something to think about.

i have a compressor with an actual paint gun. i plan on doing all of the painting and preping in my garage and plan on making like a greenroom sort of thing.

no i am not painting my truck to hide the dents. i know black is the worst color for dents but i still like black rangers.
