Default Buying another HID kit

Hey I am thinking about buying another HID kit for my H3(fog) light bulbs. Rite now i have 8k in my headlights. I am thinking about putting some 6k in my fogs. I am wondering would this be a nice looking combination? Or should i put a different type bulb in there?

Because i buy those cheap Xenon blue lights on Ebay for my Fog and i can barely see them on the road when i have only the Fog lights on. So i am going to put a HIDs in there

Look at my avatar too see what i am talking about. I am talking about the little fog lights on the headlights.

That would look like a nice combo but in my opinion, I would put 6000k in the head lights and then 8000k in the fog lights. That would really top it off. But sine you already have 8000k in your heads, then I would go with some 6000k.

Yeah i would of did it like that put the 6k in my headlight then 8k in fog. But i already have 8k in headlight so i will just put the 6k in the projectors/fogs

Yeah, I think so too. Tomorrow, I'm going out to switch out my lights and put matching 6k. I have 8 on top and 10 on bottom and I need the light so doing that tomorrow. I say do it, 8k in heads and 6k in fogs. It will kind of look like high beams when you switch them on IMO

anyone ever take out the headlight cover when installing the hid kit? its like a concave shield over the bulb. would that make it brighter or less bright?

matching colors is good when you have fog lights that in separate housings (lower than the headlights) but since your fogs are in the same housing i think going 8k heads and 6k fogs would be better. matching would just be a big blob of the same color haha

DO NOT take that shield off! That shield in the headlight is there for a reason. If you take it off and put in HIDs, you are looking at getting flashed literally all the time due to the glare and you are also going to be looking at tickets. Some aftermarket head lamps don't have that shield in it but that's aftermarket. You have OEM. If you want the shield out, get aftermarket. Otherwise, keep it in there

ok yall are confusing projectors in te head light housings with fog lights fog lights are separate then the head lights such as in a lower valance or behind the grill what yall are referring to are the actual projecters in the projecter head lights

when referring to the projector i agree with te 6/8k combo so as said it wont be one big blob of light
