Default Sliding Rear Window

Hey guys maybe someone out there can help me. I have a factory sliding window (Carlisle) dual glass. The person that had the truck before me locked his keys in the truck and knocked off one of the aluminum channels to break-in. Well he lost the channel and I have been trying to find a way to replace it. I have gone to Lowes, Home Depot and found a piece of U channel but the inside is too wide and the latch won't mount either. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this or where I can get thinner channel. I ave called all the automotive glass places they only want to sell me a new slider. Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas...Thanks, Greg

Looked in the LMC catalog and they didnt have anything either

I would say hit up a junkyard and replace the whole thing. I know that's not really a cheap alt. but dont think you will ever find anything suitable

Well I don't give up on finding a way to fix anything...Jack of all trades and master of none. After sitting on my tailgate and staring at the window I came up with an idea. Jumped in the truck heading to picture frame shop. Walked around in their showroom and looked at frames. They had them with the corners cut-off and found a piece of aluminum frame. Walked up to the desk and asked her if she would come with me to the sample. Told her my deal. She giggled and said come back to the back room and look thru our scrap. After going thru the box I found 2 16" long black pieces. Stopped off at the Lowes and got some weather stripping. Came back and within 20 minutes I had my latch installed and works like a champ...Never give up !!!! Thanks to all that posted...
