has anyone ever heard of switching your parking lights (inner amber circles on your headlights) to a blue or a different color than yellow... if so maybe post a picture... i thought it would look pretty cool but im unsure if it would for certain or if its even legal for that matter

You have daytime running lights? I didnt know rangers had those...is it a Canada thing?

I know here they are supposed to be "amber". You can put clear corners in but the bulb still should be amber when it is lit or flashing to make it legal. They make bulbs that dont look amber when they are off but glow amber when they flash (not the best quality but do the job if thats what your looking for. You could also put led bulbs in which will not be amber unless lit as well.

Yes. Cars and trucks have had to have daytime running lights...the headlights but with a little less juice..for about 20 years now. The same happened with motorcycles in the late 70's to increase their visibility..much more needed for them.

sylvania makes a bulb #3157 (ranger front parking lamps) that is blue when off, amber when on, so it's completely legal to use, I believe it's a sylverstar.
