Im in need of a new front bumper for my 99 Ranger. I was searching around for some different bumper options and trying to find something local to me. Im not really a fan of the chrome and was wondering if there were any other years or ford/models that would be an easy bumper swap.

it was easy to do. i just cut up the factory ranger brackets and welded them to the inner structure of the expo bumper. i also had to trim some of the support on the expo where it came in contact with the bottoms of the fenders. took about an hour for the whole swap. im not shure but i think the 93-97 brackets and frame ends are diff. then the 98+ ranger ones.

hey casper, do he edge bumpers just bolt on a 980-00 or do you have to do some modifacations have to be made to the brackets? do you use the 98 brackets or the edge brackets?

It's a bolt on deal, you need the 01+ bumper brackets for it but other than that it's super easy.
