it would def be safer to take it off, but i think if you taped it off well you could leave it on

You must have had a bad experience with this stuff, trust me i do this myself, prep, prep and prep some more, spray, my tacoma has been this way for 3 years, and looks like it did from day one, once i did it, (7) several others followed.

the non painted ford valance is made from recycled plastics, after application is cured flex it see what happens. 18yrs in custom painting/collision fields... I see this cat likes to "play", hince the "goodluck"..... I would buy a OEM painted/or paintable Valance (made from differnet type of plasitics, and are noticeably different) that spray on chemicals would adhere to... but that's my opinion/thoughts, I say if u wanna spray it, spray it..

Okay I understand you're experience and respect that, Let me ask you, have you ever used liner on your valance or any other plastic part? I'm assuming you did; since you have been in the biz for quite some time, You also would know that a flex product is used when painting plastic...... This info I'm giving you is old to you I know, but take a moment and never take from another man an experience that I have had, Again I have bumped/flexed/scraped and abused my tacoma and it has held up so well that even I was shocked. It works; but than again their are so many mods and customizing things we all do to our vehicles and a lot of those mods turn out different from person to person, So I would say when I spray his liner on his, he can post pics abuse the crap out of it, even flex it, and let him be the witness, If it cracks or break off, I will spray it again or buy him a new bumper.

I think my reputation so far is good enough that my word can be trusted. Tomorrow I will personally try and get a video of my hitting it with a mallet and flexing it with my hands, you may be right, than again the 3 years of abuse has done no wrong to my bumper.
