It will be the plastic push pin looking things, 7 of them I think per side. and then in the back you have to reach up into the fender well and feel for the ones that pop through the sheet metal of the bed side. I was able to pop all but 2 with this method and for the last 2 I pulled on the flare and they let loose, probably not the best method but I have gorilla hands so it was hard to get in there.

In the front I ended up un-bolting the plastic inner fender well and doing the same thing as well. got all but the top 2 and then just pulled.

I had pics of my '03 FX4 without the flares on but I cleared all pics off my computer because Im foreseeing my computer crashing soon. I'll try to load them back on just to give you an idea

Oh and dont bother trying to save those push pins, just cut the heads of them off and go to auto zone or advance auto and get replacement ones. I think theres 15 per box
