Custom toolbox with toneau cover...
So this is my plow truck and the topper was to restrictive for seeing what is going on.
I don't like my tools and things to get wet let alone have the bed full of snow.
So, My solution was to install the toolbox and custom fabricate the exsiting toneau cover to fit.
I had to cut the frame down and used some termination bar with stainless 1/4" bolts to fasten the cover back to the shortend rails.
It really is a good look I think as serves the purpose very well.

Re: Custom toolbox with toneau cover...
Its a 6'6 snow way predator series. 22" with 600lb of down pressure.
Its got a wired keypad which makes it real nice since the truck is manual.
I tell ya what would be nice, If there was like a PS3 analog stick that you could attach to the side of the shifter and run the plow with your thumb....!
I see you run the BFG's also, How do you like them? Mine bite awesome, I wouldn't have any other tire on there.

Re: Custom toolbox with toneau cover...
Down pressure is really nice. It helps to break up ice and in wet heavy snow the plow likes to float up, the DP helps alot to keep it down.
I had to Fabricate the mount to my truck tho, it came with an s10 mount. It wasnt bad, I had to remove the bumper and cut off the bumper mounts.
I got ahold of a tube style bumper and fabbed it up, built some plow light mounts ontop of it and am all set.
I just converted the clutch fan over to a flex fan. If you are having troubles with overheating take a look at my post.
I had alot of close calls last season with the plow, I had to run the plow about 1" of the ground just to stay around 210.
With the fan I put on and the plow all the way up, it wont run over 180.
