Default slight paint problem

Ok, so I took the time this summer to paint my truck

(if you want, look through my album for the changes

I did:

2 coats primer, 2 coats color, 2 coats clear

the next day when i finished, I noticed rough areas on the truck where im guessing the clear coat did not hit.

I was wondering if there was anything to do to get rid of these rough areas at all, i've heard you can buff out these areas but anyone else got any insight?

-Thanks

Default Re: slight paint problem

if it didn't get covered in clear, you need to sand the truck down and put more clear on it. if you buff an area that has no clear or is really light on clear, you'll end up buffing the color off. 3-4 coats of clear is generally what you would want to buff it.

i would say, scuff it down and put some more clear on.
