Roll Up Tonneau Cover
I’m entertaining the idea of getting a roll up tonneau cover for my truck. A local truck accessories place can get me either a Tonnosport for $329 or a Literider for $375
I can’t tell much difference between one or the other except the Tonosport is listed as a low profile cover.
What do you think about these two tonneau’s he offered?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Roll Up Tonneau Cover
Terrible. You can get a great one for about 250 online. I got a nice lund for 219 (it's not low profile, but that wasn't much more) and they often have deals. I got a free $90 (or so they say) diamond plate toolbox. Not a truck toolbox, but still nice to have.

I meant terrible on price. I have no idea the quality of those products. Just either way, I think it would be a vast over payment going for those.

Re: Roll Up Tonneau Cover
I've been looking at the Truxedo ones http://www.amazon.com/TruXedo-247101-TruXport-Roll-Up-Tonneau/dp/B000BK7R8C...they seem a little less "floppy" and the price doesn't seem horrible
but I've only been looking around for a couple months

Good price! How does it fasten to the rails if it doesn't use velcro?

Um, no. What is that? A bar? LOL! They have good prices? I have tried Travelier and a spin off company from Travelier.

Quality looked good on the two mini samples they had on display. Just two different rear latching systems is all I can tell between the two.

I don't mind paying a little extra for a quality product.
EDIT: Found one on Amazon that fits my truck. It says the "250101 would fit" at a much better price that the ones I've seen.
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!
Now the question is which one should I go with? So far I'm partial to the TruXedo one.

Gotcha. Yes, I agree. Like I said I got mine from Amazon for right about $300... ...including the ridiculous shipping charges on 7.5' long box (long bed).

Re: Roll Up Tonneau Cover
Bought this one for my older dodge and the new ranger . I love not having to mess with the snaps stretching the dam thing in hot or cold to get it to fit . 2 Secs on and 2 secs off . very nioce design ....
http://www.capworld.com/TruckCapsLid...ess_Rollup.htm
I think it was around $ 300 .00
I also bought the bug deflector for above the front grille and the window shades . I hate opening the windows and getting soaked ....

Re: Roll Up Tonneau Cover
Thanks for your suggestion merlin but the Access covers is made by the same company which makes the Tonnosport and Literider I posted about above.
Yes, I love the ventshades! I have had them on every truck I've owned.
mikesturbo94, I've been on that page looking at them but I think I would rather have a roll up cover so I can have full access to my bed. Thanks for your suggestion though.

no.lol not a bar, its kinda like a travelier. they do everything from rhino linings, to lift kit installs, tonneau's to toolbox's and everything in between. i spend a fairly good amount of time and money there.lol check it out, they've normally got way better pricing than most other places.

Re: Roll Up Tonneau Cover
I had a Truxedo on my previous truck and it was a great quality product. No flapping at all as cover tension can be adjusted. Super easy to set up, fold and open/close. Velcro is commercial grade and seals perfectly. Cross bars are built into the cover. Great product at a decent price (about $280 on ebay).
