Default Those who had a drop-in liner but took it out...

...did you leave the gate liner on or did you take that off too? The previous owner of my truck had a drop-in put in when he bought the truck new, but later ditched it but he left the gate liner intact.

What I hope to do- Paint wheels, new head unit, exhaust, fix four wheel drive.

lol i took mine out started to rust my bed because water was getting under it..

I was fortunate to find a rubber bed mat for next to nothing so that's what I have in there now. That's kinda in between a drop-in and spay/roll-on?

Line-X and plastic gate liner over the Line-X and 1/2" rubber mat on top of the Line-X in the bed...overkill I know, but I had it why not use it..lol

Call around to local shops. Also check out Rhino Liner as an alternative to Line-X. There are also some DIY roll-on products available, such as Herculiner…I believe Duplicolor has their own liner product as well.

Personally from what ive saw locally id go with rhino liner as my first option
