not to be mean, but the rack seems too high. most are flush with the roof of the cab, not mounted on top of some bars that are a foot above the cab.
also, I would have monted it on the front half of your topper.

i have been thinking about getting a rack on mine just to put bikes on there cause sometimes when the ranger is loaded up and im going camping there is no room for the bikes... but the basket makes it look top heavy, i live in the hills, so curvy roads would make the basket loaded down a no go for me...

The basket is clipped on to yakima cross bars and literally weighs like 20 lbs lol. And my ranger is caped so the roof rack goes with it..i like it lol you guys don't have to lol.

Oh don't get me wrong, I like it a lot, I just feel like it would make me top heavy when I have stuff in it up in the hills.
